Thanks for the response! I've idly thought about handguards from time to time but I don't whack my hands on stuff enough to make it seem worthwhile - I do bang my bars on trees/big rocks/walls, however, so perhaps these are worth a closer look...
Any thoughts on the force transmitted from the Counterpunch through the expander plug into a carbon handlebar and what that might do to the bar's integrity? Have you talked with manufacturers of carbon bars for their opinion? We have lots of local companies making them from One-Up to Chromag to RaceFace and beyond...
