Hey ShawMac, I appreciate the feedback, and sorry to hear they didn't work out for you. They are designed for stuffing your pinky up against the Counterpunch so there's no gap, and generally require moving the brake levers in. Of course, every situation is different, but so far the overwhelming result for me and everyone testing them over the last 18 months is that they slide. I suspect you'd find if you kept using them, you'd experience a different result in a different circumstance.
