Hey ShawMac, I appreciate the feedback, and sorry to hear they didn't work out for you. They are designed for stuffing your pinky up against the Counterpunch so there's no gap, and generally require moving the brake levers in. If you check out the video here [https://www.loamlab.bike/products/counterpunch](https://www.loamlab.bike/products/counterpunch) you can see how effective they are on very chunky bark hitting very far over. Of course, every situation is different, but so far the overwhelming result for me and everyone testing them over the last 18 months is that they slide. I suspect you'd find if you kept using them, you'd experience a different result in a different circumstance. However, I don't want anyone paying for something they are not stoked on and not going to use, so if you've given up on them please hit me up next time you swing through Squamish.
