I think that's a super common issue for any hip pack with side-loading bottle slots that also hold water bottles securely. My Osprey Savu is the same way, but I think the only way to avoid that is creating a loosey-goosey slot that the bottle will love to pop out of. I usually just use my frame bottle, then swap the bottles when I'm at the top or having a break (not ideal, I know).
