I can't comment for Leatt specifically, but know from experience that all brands that sell into many markets around the world have to set prices well in advance, and usually do some F/X speculation to help smooth out the bumps of fluctuating exchange rates. No comment either on what Covid has done to brands on that score, but as a brand from South Africa with a corporate office in the US and working through a distributor in Canada, it's probably no surprise that a few of the prices don't align exactly with current exchange rates.
