Canfield has a shorter reach and a rear center. It is a bike that you ride rear biased due to the weight distribution.  It is easier to corner the Canfield because of this bias but Rocky has more agility because of how light it is and poppy the suspension feels. With the 448mm stays on the rocky, cresting over steep rock features, i was first of all worried about high centering the BB.. second of all, by the time the BB is over the crest, the rear axle is still climbing the rock. It makes for a difficult "for me" timing to unweight the rear end... Thats whats so brilliant about rocky. It gives you the option to set it up however you want...
