There is no doubt the replacement shock had a different tune.
It seemed to have a stiffer shim-stack to hold itself higher up on travel.
I had to re-tune the DPX2 on the druid as well. IT is a common practice for how I ride and what I expect from my suspension. When there is only 130-140mm travel at stake, I need the shock to work as well as it could on the shore.
The Instinct rides alot lighter than the druid. I found the Rocky to be alot more poppy and playful on the trail. Druid is a plow machine...
