I agree with the assessment of SLX brakes, and even extend the great performance to the Deore too. Got a set on my Honzo ESD and am floored by the power and modulation on tap.
This is not promotion, but more of a PSA - but if you need Shimano brakes in Greater Van, Deore and SLX models both in stock at Indy Cycles in Mission.
