"Initial suspension set-up on Fox Performance level shocks and fork is fairly easy because there are minimal adjustments to work with" Initial adjustments on any fork are easy. Follow the provided chart, or put everything in the middle. Won't be any worse than a fork with less adjustments, and will probably be better since the charts give a better base for the various spring rates (PSI), unless you happen to exactly match exactly with the presets on the shock with less adjustments. This is a silly argument to justify cost cutting. Not saying that speccing a less adjustable fork is bad, just that we don't need this silly justification for it: a more adjustable shock is always better if it can be specced at a given price point. Further evidence comes from this exact article in that the suspension ended up taking more effort to dial in precisely because it lacked adjustments. Who cares if initial setup takes 1 minute less because there is one or two feet dials to count to 10 on, if you end up spending many many more minutes putting spacers and PSI in and out?
