that reminds me of the poor dude on the mtbr Stumpjumper Evo forum whose frame misalignment (and accompanying side load) went through six DPX2s before Fox stopped warrantying them and Spesh sent a Cane Creek coil shock. Or some dude whom kept on blowing DVOs from the side load until DVO refused to warranty the shock..
side load is a real issue on some mtb frames, particularly on a yoke design. The result can be seriously catastrophic. Like the emtb user kirkrichards which snapped a dhx2 on his levo...
