#!markdown nice work finding the bike's sweetspot jon. but, given your findings, i think you'd be disappointed by this bike in the chilcotins. shredding rather committing descents is a big part of the appeal (at last for me) of riding in that area. i'd prefer to lug around a bike that didn't climb as well than drop into a descent on something that would hold me back (says the guy who mostly rides hardtails)
