The prosecution said that, since this incident, bikers and hikers seemed to
have further improved their 'courtesy' to each other, so there may be one good
thing to come out of the whole sad affair? I've personally never had an issue
with walkers/hikers on the Shore - in fact the only rare idiots I've come
across when riding there have been other bikers!
