#!markdown jones offers a "standard" bladed fork for half that price. the truss is a marvel of engineering and fabrication; there's easily as much going on there as there is with most steel frames. given the market - the only other option for a truss fork is to go custom (black sheep offers them starting at $1500) - i don't think jeff's fork is overpriced
