If there’s money to be saved by having 1 triangle carbon, 1 triangle alloy, I’d much prefer a lighter carbon swingarm. Having a hard time seeing the value of carbon front/alloy rear frames. Gearbox and e-bikes have shown that even quite a bit of sprung mass isn’t that big of deal to the overall ride, but I know how much I hated having a boat anchor NX cassette hanging off the back.
