I feel like I'm the weird one when it comes to mountain bikes. I buy a bike I
like and hang onto it till I think there is something better out there or the
thing breaks. REplacement parts usually start adding up but I LIKE my bike. I
don't always think the grass is greener. Now with new wheel sizes it's a pain
to HAVE to buy into the new stuff. I have always waited a year or 2 after
something new comes out. (9 speed,2×10,1×11 among other things) i want to see
if it stands the test of time. I don't really crave a new bike every
year…maybe it's an attachment thing…ride on…
