While I generally agree, I can’t shake the thought that usually riders and teams compete throughout the year, using those to build and prepare. That hasn’t been possible this year.
On the other side of the coin, everyone is pretty much in the same boat, leaving it to who adapts and prepared best with the year we had. And obviously who has the best race. Fingers crossed everyone’s race run is in the same conditions on Sunday!
