Great story, great car, and great bike! Thanks for sharing. I always wanted an MGB, and when I came to buy my first car surfed the Buy and Sell for months. I couldn't afford one, so bought a Triumph TR7 instead. It got a lot of looks, was in great cosmetic condition, but rough mechanically. I spent more time wrenching than driving that thing. But I learnt a ton from that car. I got tired of the constant wrenching ... so bought possibly the most reliable sports car ever made, and it puts a grin on my face every time I drive it. But I still lust for a wire wheel, chrome bumper MGB, or an Austin Healey 3000.
