I am not a SRAM fanboy by any means and I'll spare everyone the list of their many, many missteps with introducing new product, but it sure does seem like Shimano is getting a free pass with all these clutch issues. What percentage of riding population even understands what the clutch is, much less how to properly adjust and service it? If I was a shop having to service every new derailleur before selling it I would be pretty upset.
