I'm shopping for a new offroad (mostly gentle farm use with 10% on road use) motorcycle helmet. The mips and non mips options of each model (and colourways) in my size is far greater than in mtb helmets where I am lucky to just find one that fits comfortably.
I've concluded a few extra dollars to take the mips or similar rotational energy management system option is probably not wasted. This takes into account the different market and different use case. The exponentially greater risk during that 10% makes all the difference in my case.
