The derailleur shape fails however. My bike fell by itself in the basement and it cracked the cable tension adjustment. That is because the arm that receives the cable is pointing outward. For that matter SRAM are better designed as that part can't be damaged in a crash. Granted most MTB have the cable tension adjustment on the shifter but I use this derailleur with a dropbar shifter on a gravel bike and I had to switch to using an inline adjustment, which is less than ideal.
