So I have the lace versions of the 2FO and they are pretty similar in fit
although the lace verses BOA thing is an obvious difference (and the cliplites
take care of that). For me the grip is better with the PI shoes, the 2FO sole
isn't awesome for getting purchase on a muddy slope.
I've owned older Shimano shoes but not tried the new M200's. Pete has a pair I
think. My only issue is that side mounted ratchet. I've damaged and had to
replace them on both my shimano and specialized shoes that had it positioned
there. I prefer the fit with a BOA system too.
