I have no fewer than ten different greases on my shelf, and two assembly compounds. This type of behaviour can become an issue if I let it. Pro tip for the grease tub: get a pack of acid brushes (sometimes called flux brushes), leave one in each grease tub. They're super cheap at $0.25-$1/per and the bristles won't pull out much at all over time. Also, the steel handles are easy to clean so you don't get totally greasy hands every time you need grease. Makes coating stuff for assembly (think headset bearings) super easy and clean, compared to just using your fingers.
