I predict resistance and complaining about the 51mm fork offset...but I applaud Evil for going that direction. Having tested fork offsets back to back on many bikes I'm baffled by shorter offsets on short travel bikes. It makes perfect sense on a super slack 29er, but no sense at all on a less aggresive bike like this. I feel increased nervousness when the fork offset is brought in, unless the head angle is slacker than 66 degrees. Im just another internet opinion, but I have had access to different fork CSUs and many different head angles. The new offset numbers are trendy and its clear to me Evil actually tested this bike and that the non-trendy 51mm fork helps its handling.
