Fully agree, and since I own an old bike and i can't afford to even look at a new one I will indeed repair and improve. Also would be interesting to know some of the parent companies and funds running big bike brands, what other operations they support etc. Do they ethically source raw material yada yada... Are there brands out there that need to be forced into being better corp. citizens?
