I haven't seen a single dent in the rims, which I found surprising after the time and abuse the wheels have seen. Not sure how much the foam is helping with that or whether they're just a tough rim. They're the heaviest duty rim I've used for a few years but I used to dent my old Mavic DH wheels all of the time, often first day in the park.
