They sell a smaller one that's more comparable in weight and price. I don't have any experience with it though. I had a Bahco for years and it worked well enough. Switched to the bigboy years ago and never looked back. It is big though, when I'm riding I only carry it early season or after a big windstorm and I always have it in my building pack (and one in the back of my truck).
I was more calling you and others out for saying MEC got rid of it in favour of useless stuff when in fact they sell what in my opinion is a superior product.
