Sorry to hear you had such a poor experience - hopefully the LBS or online shop you bought the brakes through got you looked after.
I obviously don't know all the details of your experience, but I do know that between testing the R0R and the Cura2 that Formula changed agency in the USA and some of my communications were lost as well.
I can't speak for anywhere outside of Canada but I've heard many positive customer service stories about Alba in Whistler and I've had nothing but great experiences getting information and buying small parts.
