I have the shorts (and their 4 YO worn out predecessor), but have only worn them twice. I liked the earlier version 'cause they kept my upper things and butt warm 'n dry in really wet conditions. The new ones are pricey for Gore Tex shorts ($175-ish CDN!) but I lucked out and found last year's pair for 40% off and picked them up. Thx Comor! These shorts breathe pretty well for Gore-Tex, but I wouldn't wear them above 12 C, give or take, as they don't breathe enough for 'warmer' weather, IMO. But that's the nature of a water proof membrane for you. I would buy them again, just not at full price
