I hate to have to mention this, but there's a bit of a problem. It's not the article itself or your observations about junkets or your continuing shift toward e-cceptance - those are all well and good, I suppose. Just do me a small favour and use your favourite search engine to seek out "Crankset Failure and Deceptive Specifications on Giant Electric Mountain Bikes", and read up on my experience. It's a couple of years old now but should provide some insight that you could use to look at things a bit more critically. And remember to focus on the big picture, including the ethics and design issues involved, not just the specific part that failed catastrophically.
