Quite likely you guys who don't get bothered by chainslap are JUST running trail bikes. The new carbon DH bikes with large diameter tubes are noisy. And very much so with VPP designs like the V10 and Intense (likely others too). The SRAM X-Horizon derailleurs help a lot (compared to Saint). And with chain growth you have to be super careful shortening your chain to remove slack. Its killer (like bad) to spend a fortune on a new DH machine just to clack your way down the hill. That's why anything like this that canĀ help to silence your drivetrain is awesome.
