Damn, I just rebuilt (can't even think how many times) my oldest HT frame. I think part of the reason I keep coming back to it is the long reach. Plumb bob and tape measure gives about 460-470mm reach, this on a 16" seat tube. But as it was designed for a rigid fork it's already sitting high with a 29er rigid at 435mm a-c.  But - DT is 650mm which is short compared to the shorter reach bikes with longer forks in the house. Still confused, guess it doesn't matter since I'm not shopping for a new frame, just playing lego with the existing machines.
