I'm not pointing a finger at you on that one Drew, just pointing out how inaccessible new gear is and how difficult it is to formulate an informed opinion. In practical terms, unless there were a substantial financial motivation most of us wouldn't bother trying one, even if it were time to swap out drive trains. Speculate all you want on the advantages of a simpler yet more effective drive train. In a way you are right, if it ever caught on, price wouldn't matter.
