Re. the Leatt. I know a few people with them, including my \*cough\*hamfisted\*cough\* brother and zero issues with the clasps. Not saying it’s not a thing just that I haven’t seen it.
I’ve ridden the 2.6 XR and 2.6 SE and would take the support of the SE everyday. With 3” I would only consider the SE.
