I run my with 27.5" 40mm RaceFace rims, Hope hubs and Schwalbe Rocket Ron 3" tires setup tubeless during the off winter months and the thing is a beast! In the winter I swap in the 26" stock rims with 4.8" studded Vee Snow Shoe XL on the front and 4" studded 45north Dillinger on the rear and it becomes a snow monster :) My Ibis SLR and other Bluto / hard tail fatty gets almost zero rides now. It's a perfect year round bike.
