Even if I were to ignore the $30000 Canadian university education, and deem that a failed investment (which might be close to accurate), I still like to treat my brain as the most expensive thing I own. Thus, saving $50 on brain-insurance is bad economics if you're getting sub-standard insurance. I'm not claiming that the Kali chamber pot is sub-standard, but rather that helmet reviews are hard because the only things that really matter are comfort (which is different for everyone) and protection (which requires proper 3rd party lab testing at minimum).
