I tend to do most of the road trips in my vehicle cos i have a truck and most buddies don't. Ill never chase someone for gas, and rarely raise the issue on the road. If someone wants to give me money ill take it. Never dream of asking for 'maintenance' costs unless someone puked in the back, or deliberately damaged something being a dick.
Imagine being 55 and fighting over 20 bucks.
