Totally agree with you Dan, the wheels are very expensive but it represents top, top shelf quality.
I've had a chance to ride these wheels - and they rip! What I like most about the wheelset is how they feel under load when pedaling hard and fast over the rough stuff. It feels very fast and seems to maintain speed even over roots/rocks/bumps.
The hub choice crank brothers picked is great - the P321 hubs are fancy, and the quiet 2.5 degree engagement makes it that much easier to get over roots on climbs.
