UPDATE: I'm just a dummy. I'd not noticed that the little seal ring on the lever bleed port was still in the hole (d'oh!).
Dug it out and the Tektro fitting works in the TRP brake.
My bike industry rage has subsided.
I just wish I had a shimano style funnel which worked with these levers...
Of course, the whole idea behind buying these was to mitigate my 3 hours/week bleeding activity with my Shimanos...
