When you're stuck in the internet echo chamber (do you even boost, bro?), the lure of consumption is strong. In any hobby, I find that I'm happier the more I'm out using the gear I have. The minute I delve too deep down the new gear rabbit hole, I start longing for all the niceties that are just substitutes for the real thing: the experience of riding the bike and being happy.
Spend less time on the internet talking about gear and more time riding yours. You''ll be happier for it.
