SRAM must have been bricking it that Shimano were going to do this for their 12 speed drivetrain; 11-50(1) and fits an HG driver. They'd have taken 50% of SRAMs 1X market overnight. How lucky are they that Shimano has adopted an entirely sensible (but unavailable and unwanted) new driver standard? No one wants Shimano hubs*, ergo no one wants a Shimano 12 speed drivetrain.
As for this? i can't imagine a rear derailleur even cheaper than the POS Eagle GX i have right now. So much slop at the fixing bolt after 2 months it makes a 3 year old Shimano look fresh by comparison. After all the fuss about a 10t cog, SRAM must be laughing their faces off.
*Alright, Andrew Major probably does. But apart from him.
