I am using KMC XSL-11 TiN as I believe that too many people overlook the wear and tear reduction benefits of a lighter chain \(and these are still bomber\).  Think of which part on your bike is constantly being pulled, pushed, stretched over metal and ground with muck whilst being bounced up and down 100-200 times per minute! At first people scoff at 25 grams saved but those same people would be all "wow" if I said that I had managed to shave 1.3 kg off my bike \(10% weight saving on a 30 lb/ 13 kg trail bike\).  I have been running KMC chains \(SL Ti-N versions\) for about 10 years now and, whilst I know that there have been significant improvements in drivetrain materials and machining, I think they significantly reduce drivetrain wear and tear and are worth the additional $$.
