What brand of Durometer tester do you have? I had looked into getting one previously to add a small quantitative element to my usual qualitative ramblings but couldn't bring myself to fork over 300 USD for something that is apparently only accurate against itself?
If I could pick something up cheap enough that was ballpark accurate (and accurate against itself) it would be very cool to map the tires I come across through various temperatures.
From what I've read for something that is scientifically accurate the cost is around 2500 USD+
