I'd do that in a heartbeat. Blue for riding, black for wearing about. Or black x 2, although I quite like the blue as a riding piece. I have the Bear Suit Lights - the Pro are significantly burlier and have a clever side zip-up system so you can take 'em on and off without removing your shoes. They're a full on DH pad. Sweet sent us a set of XL Pros and we couldn't find anyone with knees big enough to make them fit - no, not even Tim Coleman.  In the Lights, I wear a Large - comparatively I'm a Large in RF pads as well as Dakine. Hope that helps. Despite the name, I don't consider them a light-duty pad - more middle of the road. They're still not a hard shell, but for trail/AM riding, for me, they're the right tool.
