The Electropeds seen at these shows are just incredible. Think of the image these things are painting for the Mtb community as a whole when viewed by a non-participant. And I mean just viewed in a magazine or on the internet. If a less informed individual, property manager, or highly biased anti-mtb trail-user/hiker/dog walker/whatever sees these things and believes them to be the direction of the MTB industry based on the incredible amount of marketing and new Electroped product releases!?!... It's a scary thought. Maybe it really is the direction we are heading in? I'm beginning to have a hard time disagreeing with that view. We as a industry are still trying to escape the public opinion of being a highly exclusive intimidating, dangerous, extreme MountainDew sport, and now we are finally and irreparably going to find ourselves even more permanently associated with motorized recreation.
