Great eye; I would have assumed it's just a production sample but looking at the tech docs the **[carbon](http://www.pivotcycles.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Mach-6C-V3-Parts-Schematic.pdf) **schematic shows them and [**alloy**](http://www.pivotcycles.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Mach-6A-V3-Parts-Schematic.pdf) doesn't.
