It's a fair point.
Personally, I'm with Mike Levy @ Pinkbike in thinking - although it's a lot less sexy - the way to go is with an EDC tool housed in the pump (since I always carry a pump anyways).
It's also the cheapest / simplest option with multiple bikes.
Will definitely be surprised is other pump + tool manufacturers don't copy that idea!
