I can't speak for everyone, but the cost of gear is already crazy, I can only imagine what custom gear will cost. I buy 95% of my gear on closeout sales. The only things I buy at the LBS is shoes and helmets so that I know how they fit and feel. I will make an exception for the LBS logo bibs and jerseys the years they do a color scheme I like.
