I don't think the flat part of the lever is much wider, if at all wider than
the shimano's. Might look that way as the lever arm is extended further away.
Similar to Avid? Anyway, in term a of Shimano reliability…big bonus if you
lose your brakes in rural Italy, olive oil works (or so I've been told. I
think Woodro did an emergency fix with cooking oil.
