Complete rush job. They didn't do any sort of custom geometry for the 650
wheel they just slapped it on there because they were getting their ass handed
to them by other manufacturers. Spec even said they weren't going to enter the
650b market and that it was unnecessary then that blew up in their face so
they threw this half baked POS into the marketplace.
