#!markdown Hi, In a word, no. I looked into shorter throw cranks, but they were too expensive for me. I have taken the bike to Australia with me, and ridden some good trails at Falls Creek (DH1 and Gulley), Mount Buller (Delatite River and Copperhead), Nail Can Hill (all DH) with very few pedal strikes, think I am learning to do short strokes better. I did have problems at Mount Beauty, DH1 in places is very rutted, too deep for the Stumpy pedals, so I wouldn't do that again. Generally I've got better but it's always on my mind, and I think holds back my riding, so if you can afford it, it's worth doing.
