Hasn't this been discussed ad nauseam? Customers responsibility at a shop -
don't expect a deal - feel free to ask 'is this your best price?' but don't be
surprised when the answer is 'yes'. Shops responsibility - acknowledge the
customer, listen to the customer, show some humility when you don't know the
answer/customer knows more than you. Both sides - don't be dicks. Keeping a
bike running is not rocket science - Canyon can't come to NA soon enough. LBS
should be getting ready for a cull of the weak.
